There is nothing to buy on this site. No membership, no subscription, no paid tier, no account to create. The guides, the calculators, the rate data and the Starter Kit are free to use, and you are not asked for a card at any point.
If that changes in future, it will change for new things — not by putting a price on something you are using today without warning.
Using the content
The templates in the Starter Kit — proposals, the deposit clause, the scope checklist — are licensed for your own client work. Adapt them, send them, keep them. You may not resell, republish or redistribute them as a product of your own.
Guides and rate data may be quoted with attribution and a link. Please carry the provenance with any figure you cite; the methodology page explains what the numbers are and are not.
The tools
Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. Where a tool remembers your work — the pipeline tracker, the invoice maker — it stores that data in your browser's local storage, on your device. It is never sent to us and we cannot see it.
That also means it is yours to lose: clearing your browser data clears the tool. Use the export or print options for anything you need to keep.
Not professional advice
The contract language and payment terms provided here are practical starting points from working experience, not legal advice for your specific situation. For a high-stakes agreement, have a lawyer look at it. Nothing here is tax or accounting advice either.

Rate data and guidance are provided in good faith and are compiled as described on the methodology page, but freelancing outcomes depend on you and your market. We don't guarantee income, and any figure on this site is a reference point rather than a promise.
